Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dishwasher.
Regular Cleaning
Ensure that both the interior and exterior of the dishwasher are cleaned regularly. Use a moist soft cloth with neutral detergents for external cleaning. Avoid abrasive products or solvents.
Clean Filters
Regularly check and clean the filters. Make sure they are clean and correctly installed to avoid decreased washing results and potential damage to the appliance.
Unclog Spray Arms
Inspect the spray arms for clogs. If the holes are clogged, remove debris using a thin pointed object to ensure proper water flow during cleaning cycles.
Check Salt and Rinse Aid Levels
Fill the salt container and rinse aid dispenser as needed. If the indicators are on, replenish these compartments to maintain optimal cleaning performance.
Correct Item Placement
Place items in the baskets correctly. Ensure that the spray arms can move freely and that items do not block the detergent dispenser.
